Hari Om Yoga Vidya School has a stringent schedule for yoga students. Our course is designed in a very balanced manner, so that you can do it along with your other commitments. We give the student adequate time to contemplate and also relax at the ashram. You will be waking up in the Brahma Muhurta, which is the right time, to pursue the practice of yoga. Our schedule has been designed keeping in mind that students require both theory as well as practical knowledge.

After waking up, you have to prepare for the day ahead. Firstly, you can have some herbal teas or juices. Then you can head for Shatkarma Cleansing. It helps in detoxification of the body and mind. Then it is followed by meditation, mantra chanting and Pranayama. After that, you can start with yoga asanas under Hatha Yoga. Then, you can have your breakfast. After this schedule, you will start with yoga anatomy classes. Yoga philosophy classes also follow, and you will also engage in self-study.

Thereafter, you have to break for lunch. The next class that follows is that of teaching methodology and alignments. You will be doing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as well. It is more of the flow kind of yoga. You can enjoy satsangs after the classes are over. The teachers will also conduct question and answer sessions, so that you can get all your doubts cleared. The classes end with satsangs and group chanting. You have to retire to bed early on. So, that you can wake up early next morning for your yoga practice.

  • Smoking and Alcohol are not allowed in the school.
  • To avoid food wastage we advise students to inform beforehand whenever they have fasting.
  • Students must maintain discipline and should pay respect to all teachers.
  • All participants must show punctual behavior and should arrive for classes on time. Those who come late will not be allowed for joining sessions.
  • Anything burrowed from school like books, or any goods must be returned on time
  • We provide accommodation only to participants and not their friends or family
  • Students have to maintain complete attendance.
