  • Our yoga school has been setting milestones after milestones for itself, in the way it is delivering the yoga course. The yoga sessions are quite distinct from others, and the delivery style of the teachers is also different. Moreover, the sessions are more two-sided rather than one-sided lectures.
  • Our classes are also quite small, so all the students get individualized attention. You can also get all your doubts cleared in the class itself, on a regular basis.
  • You will learn about the most authentic Himalayan form of yoga. We use traditional guidelines to impart yoga education. However, we have moulded the same in a way, so as to suit the modern practitioners.

Develop Your Yoga Skills With Hari Om Yoga Vidya School

There are certain unique features that set us apart from the rest. You should read them here, before taking that final decision to join us.

  • You will learn about the true origins of each yoga form, that we teach. The syllabus includes Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga as well. The philosophy is an important part of the education, without which you cannot develop self-belief.
  • We lay huge importance in the mastery over the texts like Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. The teachers will explain each and every verse, so that you understand why you are doing a particular kriya in yoga. A master in yoga should have complete knowledge, and so we feel this is necessary.
  • You will learn about alignments and body balance in great details. Just doing poses is not something that gives a yogi recognition. You have to know, what works for which student. Without proper alignments, the entire essence of a pose is lost and untapped.
  • You will also learn about various modifications and variations of the same pose. All the students should be able to practice each pose, while working around their limitations like injuries. Exerting pressure on painful parts of the body, or over stiff parts, can make matters worse.
  • The teachers at Hari Om Yoga Vidya School will provide you with hands-on training.
  • You will also be able to attend observation classes and intern with the school. Practical knowledge is extremely crucial in this domain.
  • The class structures are also very simplified, so the communication remains open-ended from both sides.

Yoga Teacher Training In Rishikesh Review
quote google icon review star

I have just completed the amazing 200hr YTT at Hari Om Yoga school. What a wonderfully intense experience! The course is very comprehensive and challenging you literally eat, sleep, meditate yoga for 6 days of the week. It covers everything from philosophy to pranayama, meditation, to ashtanga vinyasa and Hatha yoga. The teachers are good and Pramood and his wife ( the director of the school) are very kind and welcoming. The media crew Prince and Nitesh are friendly and do a wonderful job. Food was good, if a little monotonous and too many carbs for me, would be good to have a bit more protein. Rooms are clean, big and very adequate. The only real improvement I can suggest would be to start the teaching and sequence building a little earlier so that the students become accustomed to it sooner rather than the stress all piled into the last week. Other than that I highly recommend Hari Om yoga school, when you are embarking on this experience it opens you up and you need to be surrounded by good and caring people, and all the people that manage Hari Om are certainly that. All in all an amazing experience, dream fulfilled and would do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you Pramood and all at Hari Om Vidya 🙏🏻 namaste and Hari Omji ❤️

Hariom Vidya yoga school was really great! I am very happy with my choice to come to this school. There was a great diversity in classes and teachers. Everyone was very involved and passionate and willing to answer questions. It really felt like I was part of a family and community. I made amazing friends and was part of a very supportive group. Pramood and his wife curated a lovely environment and everyone in the staff are very kind and willing to help. The rooms were amazing, lots of room and private balcony. Nice and clean. The garden is absolutely beautiful with lots of flowers, and gets a lot of afternoon sun. It is not uncommon to see lots of monkeys, birds, and bees. The schedule is full and busy, but there is a lot to learn in a short month and I think it was wonderfully organized. We had fun excursions and had the freedom to do what we wanted on days off. Not so much time to go out on class days, but there’s no real need as the food we are served is made with love and is delicious. There are little cafes near the school if anyone wants some sweets or tea, or simply to change the atmosphere a bit. I know that this is not exactly a budget school, there are other less expensive ones. But I think this one was worth every penny because of the holistic experience. You get more for your money. All in all, I am very satisfied with the training and I had a really wonderful month despite the intensity. It is important to listen to your body and the teachers will push your boundaries but if you set your limit, they will not surpass them. So make sure to always listen to yourself.
I would 100% recommend this school. They will always be there for you and make sure you feel at home.

My experiences about my Yoga Retreat in Rishikesh:
I did my one Week Yoga Retreat at Hariom Yoga Vidya School in Rishikesh in August 2022. I'm so happy to have choosen this Yoga School, because it was like a Family to me. I joined all the classes for the Yoga Teacher Training which was in addition to the Yoga practice really informative for me. I was also taking part at the fire ceremony in the beginning what was such a great experience for me. All the people working in this school are so friendly and caring, I really miss them already!
At the beginning I was a bit scared to travel to India alone. In retrospect, however, I have to say that I had absolutely no reason to. I felt very comfortable and they were constantly making sure that we were doing well. The food on site was always really good and prepared with love. It was such a great experience for me and I am so glad I chose it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on Instagram: Christinaa.juliaa

Prior to arriving in Rishikesh I was seeking an experience of transformation and in many ways that's exactly what I received whilst attending the Yoga Teacher Trainer certification at the Hariom Yoga Video School.

The programme was recommended to me by a friend solely based on the curriculum as advertised on the website and without any real expectation of what to actually expect I got a very comprehensive baseline exposure to the extremely in-depth topic of Yoga and its ancient roots.

All the teachers were very knowledgeable and all carried a friendly and inviting nature about them. No question was ever stupid and they were all happy to go the extra yard to ensure that myself and my fellow students received an answer to any of our queries.
The location of the school is great, being. a short walk from the Holy River Ganga and other local amenities. The food at the school was also great and varied and the chef very accommodating. Pramod Ji the owner was extremely helpful and an amazing resource in all manner of ways.

In summary, I had a great experience and came away feeling a sense of accomplishment and new found sense of appreciation for the depth and scope of Yoga and the beautiful and ancient life enhancing practice of Yoga in all it's forms. Namaste.

I came to Rishikesh thinking I would be doing yoga with my mom for two weeks but that was only a part of what I did here. Since day one, my mom and I were treated with so much love and respect, we felt like family. It was the quickest I had ever felt welcomed.
As a recent college graduate, I didn’t think I had the energy to sit through any more classes but all the teachers were so personable and passionate that I was always engaged.
They put in so much effort into our fantastic meals, to take us on weekend trips, and to accommodate us in any way necessary.
I never thought I would feel so connected to a place or a group of people as much as I do here. I know that I’ll be coming back for sure, next time with my sister.
